Program Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Weave Trinity’s mission into all endeavors. Facilitate opportunities for spiritual growth in all staff and children.
• Play an active part in ongoing staff training, professional development, observations and scheduling. Serve as planner, organizer, goal setter, team builder and attitude developer.
• Assist Director with daily responsibilities.
• Be involved in recruitment and admission of new children.
• Assist in maintaining state regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate ability to lead, supervise and organize the early learning programs and work effectively with adults and children. Be willing to teach a class if necessary.
• Play an active part in school year events. Able to participate in evening programs and activities as needed.
• Oversee the implementation of curriculum.
• Able to do monthly teacher observations and follow up with staff.
• Provide for developmental evaluations and regular, effective communication to parents.
• Serve as part of the administrative team for the Center, assisting in providing administrative oversight of the Center.
• Respond to staff, parent, student or public inquiries to provide appropriate information.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• AA in Early Childhood Education or related field (with at least 45 or more quarter credits in Early Childhood Ed); BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Prior job-related experience in field; including educational age-appropriate leadership, planning activities, team building, and leading.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• STARS Certificate
• Possess excellent communication, people and customer service skills.
• Able to work collaboratively and effectively lead individuals and teams.
• Have working knowledge of early learning best practices.
• Current First Aid Certifications; negative TB test result
• MMR vaccination

WORK HOURS:

Monday through Friday, 9:30 am – 6 pm

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:

• Associate (Required)

Experience:

• Social Services Administrators: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• degree in early education (Preferred)
