Program Coordinator

Duties

• Develop, implement, and evaluate community programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs
• Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and recognition to build a motivated team of community advocates
• Coordinate outreach activities including workshops, health fairs, and grassroots organizing efforts to engage underserved populations
• Facilitate public speaking engagements and presentations to promote program awareness and foster community partnerships
• Collect and analyze data related to program participation, outcomes, and community impact for continuous improvement
• Manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns to increase visibility and engagement across digital channels
• Collaborate with local organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and other stakeholders to expand program reach and resources

Requirements

• Proven experience in volunteer management, community outreach, or grassroots organizing
• Supervising experience with teams or volunteers in diverse settings
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage varied audiences effectively
• Knowledge of program development, project management methodologies, and data collection techniques
• Familiarity with social media management tools and marketing strategies for community engagement
• Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve multilingual communities effectively
• Background in social work, public health, addiction counseling or related fields is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written communication skills for report writing, grant applications, and outreach materials
• Technical proficiency in MS Office Suite or similar software for planning and documentation purposes
• CPR certification is a plus for emergency response preparedness

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
