Program Coordinator

This is not just an administrative position.

You will be the bridge between Astra and the schools, while also supporting operations within our Day Treatment programs. That means balancing communication, coordination, scheduling, and problem-solving—all in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Coordinating behavioral health services between Astra and local schools
• Acting as the main point of contact for school staff, therapists, and families
• Managing referrals, schedules, and caseload assignments
• Attending school meetings and helping coordinate services
• Supporting Day Treatment program operations
• Assisting with crisis coordination and urgent needs
• Handling parent and school concerns professionally
• Keeping documentation and communication organized and up to date

What You Need to Qualify

• High School Diploma or GED (Associate or Bachelor’s preferred)
• Experience working with:
• Children/adolescents, OR
• Behavioral health, education, or human services
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to complete required Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training (provided by Astra) after hire
• Valid Kentucky driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Must pass:
• Criminal background check
• CPS check
• Driving record check
