Program Coordinator - Learning Content & Program Implementation

Role Purpose

Own the end-to-end development and implementation of learning programs, translating business and learner requirements into structured, high-quality learning experiences.

The role will be the single point of accountability for program readiness, content development, implementation, delivery quality and continuous improvement, working closely with SMEs, Instructional Designers, Content Developers, Trainers, Technology/LMS teams, Business Development and clients.

Role & responsibilities

1. Program Design & Planning

• Translate client, business, learner and market requirements into executable learning programs.
• Define target audience, prerequisites, competencies, learning objectives and outcomes.
• Develop curriculum structure, duration,delivery methodology, timelines, resources and governance.

2. Learning & Content Architecture

• Develop curriculum and content architecture across modules, lessons, activities and learning units.
• Ensure alignment between learning objectives, content, learning activities, assessments, projects and outcomes.
• Determine the appropriate blend of instructor-led learning, eLearning, simulations, case studies, assignments and projects.
• Apply instructional design principles and Blooms Taxonomy.

3. Content Development Management

• Plan and manage end-to-end content development.
• Identify, onboard and coordinate SMEs, content developers, instructional designers and media/technology teams.
• Oversee development of facilitator guides, learner materials, presentations, eLearning, videos, case studies, simulations, assessments and capstone projects.
• Track progress, dependencies, timelines and deliverables.

4. Content Quality Assurance

• Establish and manage technical, instructional, assessment and production quality standards.
• Ensure content is accurate, industry-relevant, engaging and aligned with learning outcomes.
• Own review, feedback, revision and final approval of learning content.

5. Program Implementation & Delivery

• Ensure content, trainers, LMS, assessments and learner onboarding are ready for launch.
• Coordinate program deployment and monitor delivery against plan.
• Track learner participation, engagement, assessments and projects.
• Resolve operational, content and technology issues during delivery.

6. Program Performance & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain dashboards covering content development, program readiness, enrolment, attendance, engagement, assessment performance and learner feedback.
• Act as the central coordination point for SMEs, trainers, clients, academic institutions and internal teams.
• Identify risks early and drive timely corrective action.

7. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

• Analyse learner feedback, assessment results, completion, engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
• Identify content gaps and delivery challenges.
• Drive content refresh, version control,reuse and repurposing.
• Institutionalise a data-driven improvement cycle across programs.

8. Commercial & Business Support

• Support estimation of content development, delivery and resource requirements.
• Contribute to implementation budgets, proposals and client presentations.
• Identify opportunities for program customisation, content reuse, scalability and cost optimisation.
