About the Role

We are currently recruiting for two Program Coordinator opportunities:

Salisbury (Full-time, ongoing): Lead the delivery of our Youth Programs, including Transition to Work and Life Skills Social Program.

Hindmarsh (12-month parental leave contract): Lead our successful Transition to Work program.

In this rewarding leadership role, you will:

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of youth-based programs and services
• Develop and deliver engaging activities that promote independence, skill development and community participation
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, carers, guardians and external service providers
• Support participants to identify, work towards and achieve their individual goals through person-centred planning
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to deliver exceptional client outcomes
• Coordinate staffing, rostering and resource allocation to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client needs
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing programs and develop innovative service offerings that respond to community needs
• Monitor participant outcomes, manage risks and incidents, and ensure services comply with organisational, legislative and NDIS requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams and community stakeholders to create meaningful pathways and connections for clients

Knowledge, skills and experience

You’ll have the practical know-how and interpersonal strengths to lead with confidence and deliver quality services.

You will demonstrate:

• Strong understanding of person-centred and strengths-based approaches
• Ability to manage risk, incidents, and service compliance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in digital systems and documentation processes
• Capacity to lead teams through change and support continuous improvement

Education & Qualifications
You’ll meet the essential requirements to support safe, effective service delivery.

You will hold:

• Degree in a relevant discipline (Disability Studies, Community Development, Education, or related field), OR Diploma in Community Services combined with substantial relevant experience, OR Relevant Industry Experience consistent with the SCHADS Level 5 qualification expectation
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR
• Current South Australian driver’s licence (minimum P2)
• Current SA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check

We’re serious about safeguarding our clients. If you don’t have a current NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children Check, we’ll let you know how to obtain these prior to starting work with us.
