We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to lead our Behavioral Health Clinic, championing mental health and behavioral care excellence. Duties

• Lead the development and implementation of clinical programs aligned with best practices in behavioral health, including mental health counseling, psychotherapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Oversee patient assessment processes, diagnostic evaluations, intake procedures, and treatment planning to ensure comprehensive and personalized care delivery.
• Manage clinical documentation accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
• Coordinate group therapy sessions, child & family counseling, crisis intervention efforts, and specialized programs such as PTSD care or addiction counseling.
• Oversee case management activities, working closely with families and community agencies to support clients’ holistic well-being.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements including CPT coding for billing purposes and maintaining medical records with precision.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives through data collection, clinical research participation, and continuous evaluation of program effectiveness.

Skills

• Extensive experience in behavioral health disciplines such as mental health counseling, social work, or clinical psychology with a focus on diverse populations.
• Proven supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and other evidence-based interventions.
• Skilled in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies for individuals experiencing acute mental health or substance use crises.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders, and co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems for documentation and data collection purposes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients’ families while respecting cultural diversity; experience working with individuals from varied backgrounds is essential.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and medical documentation standards; proficiency in medical terminology is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills in managing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare policies such as CPT coding for billing purposes.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
