About Walden Media Group
Walden Media Group is a digital marketing agency where strategy and creativity meet to deliver meaningful impact for our clients. Built for scale, we partner with franchise, enterprise, and international brands to accelerate growth across every market they operate in. We’re collaborative, curious, and solutions-driven—and we’re looking for a seasoned Program Director who thrives on keeping complex projects organized, cross-functional teams aligned, and high-level work moving forward.
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior, high-ownership Program Director to serve as the vital hub connecting strategy, creative, execution, and our clients. In this role, you will act as the operational backbone and primary client-facing partner for our key franchise and enterprise accounts.
You will champion our project management platform (Wrike), streamline workflows, and provide absolute clarity through consistent status reporting and process refinement. While you will master our internal delivery systems to ensure no detail falls through the cracks, you will equally own the external client experience—leading day-to-day communications, steering campaign kickoffs, and driving account health.
Key ResponsibilitiesInternal Operations & Project Management
- Manage multiple enterprise-level projects at once, tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful, on-time execution.
- Serve as the agency’s Wrike expert—building comprehensive project schedules, maintaining workflows, and ensuring project visibility across all departments.
- Facilitate internal processes by preparing and distributing weekly status reports, project updates, and resource allocations.
- Partner tightly with cross-functional teams (creative, strategy, media, development) to ensure alignment, enforce quality control, and remove roadblocks.
- Anticipate potential execution challenges, escalate issues when necessary, and recommend proactive solutions to keep work on track.
- Continuously contribute to refining agency processes, workflow templates, and best practices to improve efficiency and team collaboration.
Client Leadership & Account Growth
- Serve as the primary, day-to-day client lead for a designated portfolio of enterprise and multi-unit franchise clients.
- Provide clear, proactive communications and lead recurring client status meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and campaign kickoff presentations.
- Proactively manage client expectations, resolve account escalations, and seamlessly translate business challenges into actionable marketing deliverables.
- Oversee account profitability and scope management, tracking project hours against budgets and managing formal change orders when project requirements expand.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in project management, program leadership, or account operations, specifically within an agency or creative environment.
- Franchise & Enterprise Background: Demonstrated track record managing enterprise accounts, multi-unit franchise systems, or complex multi-location brands.
- Platform Proficiency: Advanced expertise in project management software; Wrike is highly preferred (or mastery of similar tools like Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or Trello).
- Communication & Executive Presence: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with absolute confidence in both internal team wrangling and high-stakes, client-facing settings.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven capability to direct cross-functional teams (creative, strategy, media, etc.) without direct hierarchical reporting lines.
- Work Style: Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail. A proactive, resourceful, and collaborative mindset capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer
- Direct Impact: The ability to make a direct impact on how projects are managed, delivered, and scaled across the agency.
- Culture & Growth: A collaborative, creative culture with hands-on experience supporting a wide range of top-tier clients, plus professional development funds and paths to executive leadership.
- Compensation: $85,000 – $95,000 base salary annually (commensurate with experience).
- Health & Wellness: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
- Time Off: Flexible PTO policy, paid company holidays, and personal days.
- Flexibility: Remote work days every Wednesday
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Dental insurance
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
Work Location: In person
