Program Director

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Director to lead and expand impactful community programs focused on public health, social services, and community engagement. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative community programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs.
• Lead and supervise staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure effective program delivery and high-quality service standards.
• Cultivate relationships with local organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and resource sharing.
• Oversee program budgets, fundraising efforts, and administrative functions to ensure financial sustainability.
• Facilitate public speaking engagements, community meetings, and outreach events to raise awareness and promote program participation.
• Collect and analyze data related to program outcomes; utilize insights to improve strategies and demonstrate impact through reports and presentations.
• Manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns to increase visibility, engagement, and community involvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in volunteer management, supervising teams, or leading community programs with a focus on public health or social services.
• Strong background in program development, project management, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and client interactions.
• Knowledge of addiction counseling, social work principles, or public health practices is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations; grassroots organizing experience is a plus.
• Technical proficiency in data collection tools, social media management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual skills are preferred for engaging diverse community members effectively.
• Valid CPR certification; experience in community outreach or youth programs teaching is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with community partners while demonstrating leadership in team settings.

Pay: $53,476.93 - $81,598.00 per year
