We are seeking an experienced, proactive professional to oversee the care, development, and daily programming of an active 18-year-old young adult with autism.

This unique position combines program leadership, hands-on care, team management, and household operations. The ideal candidate has a background in special education, behavioral therapy, or program management and enjoys both strategic planning andpractical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Development & Leadership
• Develop and manage individualized behavioral, developmental, recreational, and daily living programs.
• Establish goals, monitor progress, and continuously improve programming.
• Coordinate, train, schedule, and oversee behavioral therapists, nurses, and other providers within appropriate professional boundaries.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve independence, safety, and quality of life.

Direct Care & Medical Support

• Manage morning routines, including dressing, breakfast, medications, stretching, and sensory activities.
• Provide school transportation.
• Respond to medical emergencies following established protocols and appropriate training.
• Remain available during school hours for emergencies, including potential hospital visits.

Family & Household Operations

• Manage appointments, emails, calendars, and provider communications.
• Coordinate household vendors and services.
• Handle grocery shopping, meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, and family errands.
• Anticipate needs, resolve problems independently, and ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Ideal Candidate

• Background in special education, ABA, behavioral program management, or developmental disabilities.
• Experience developing individualized programs and managing teams.
• Strong understanding of autism, behavioral support, and emotional regulation.
• Exceptionally organized, resourceful, adaptable, and self-directed.
• Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on caregiving and household tasks.
• Calm under pressure, dependable, and an excellent communicator.
• Valid driver's license
