Program Director

Overview

JWJCSA is seeking an entrepreneurial, community-minded Program Director to help lead the growth and development of our arts education programs in Washington, DC.

This role is ideal for a builder, connector, and creative problem-solver who enjoys turning ideas into action. The Program Director will help grow enrollment and participation, strengthen community partnerships, oversee programs and staff, advance fundraising and organizational development, and support program evaluation and accessibility.

We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated, self-directed, and experienced in arts education, creative youth development, nonprofit management, or a related field. Successful experience with program growth, supervision, grant writing, fundraising, donor engagement, communications, or cross-sector collaboration is especially important.

This is a part-time hybrid position averaging approximately 18 hours per week, with Jerusalem Baptist Church in Washington, DC serving as the primary work location. The schedule is generally flexible, with availability needed for scheduled programs, meetings, outreach activities, and special events.

The position is primarily supported through grant funding. Continued employment and available work hours are subject to the continued availability of grant and organizational funds.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 18.0 per week
