Job Title: Program Director, Data & Analytics

Location: San Jose, California (Work From Office – 4 Days/Week)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Program Director – Data & Analytics to lead strategic, enterprise-scale data and analytics programs across multiple workstreams, technologies, business functions and stakeholder groups.

The role will collaborate with business functions, Data & Analytics teams, Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Customer teams, Architecture, Security, and Governance teams to understand data-related requirements and convert them into coordinated enterprise programs.

The ideal candidate should combine strong program leadership and stakeholder management capabilities with a deep understanding of modern data platforms, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Leadership

• Proactively engage with teams to understand their data and analytics needs.
• Identify common requirements, recurring challenges, and opportunities that should be addressed as enterprise-level programs rather than isolated projects.
• Own end-to-end delivery of large and complex Data & Analytics transformation programs.
• Define program vision, roadmap, delivery strategy, milestones and success criteria.
• Establish governance structures, operating models, delivery standards and KPIs.
• Manage multiple projects/workstreams and ensure effective cross-functional coordination.
• Drive program execution across distributed teams, ensuring quality, timelines and business outcomes.
• Proactively identify dependencies, risks, issues and opportunities and drive resolution.

Data & Analytics Leadership

• Provide strategic direction across Data Engineering, Data Architecture, BI & Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML and Data Governance .
• Lead modernization initiatives involving cloud data platforms, data lakes/lakehouses, data warehouses and enterprise analytics ecosystems.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with enterprise standards.

Executive Stakeholder Management

• Build trusted relationships with CIO, CDO, CTO, business executives and other senior stakeholders.
• Translate business objectives into actionable data and technology roadmaps.
• Manage executive communications, steering committees, QBRs and program reviews.
• Handle escalations and drive alignment across business and technology stakeholders.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, transformation and expansion of the engagement.
