Program Director, IDD Services

Location: Longview, TX
Salary Range: $42,500–$43,000

Your Role

As aProgram Director (QIDP – Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional), you will oversee the day-to-day operations of community-based programs and Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This role requires strong leadership, organization, and a hands-on approach to ensuring high-quality, person-centered services.

You will travel regularly to ICF locations. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

A degree is required; however, training will be provided to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the QIDP role.

This position requires participation in an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day program operations including direct supports, person-centered planning, healthcare coordination, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, safety, and maintenance of the physical environment.
• Oversee financial management, staffing, recruiting, retention, and training initiatives.
• Supervise program staff, including scheduling, orientation, performance evaluations, and corrective action.
• Make recommendations and/or decisions regarding hiring, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and terminations.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure supports are consistent, engaging, and meaningful to the individuals served.
• Provide on-call support to staff and assist with shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree
• Must have at least two (2) years of IDD experience.
• Knowledge of HCS programs strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, current car registration, and auto insurance required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, responsible, and compassionate in approach.
