Program Director - Workforce Mobility Project

Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead the delivery of a large-scale Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation project. This significant opportunity will see you provide strategic leadership and oversight of an enterprise-wide initiative focused on streamlining workforce mobility, HR processes and employee lifecycle management within a complex organisational environment.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Director, CES Programs, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Workforce Mobility Project, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with organisational priorities, government objectives and established governance frameworks.

The project will leverage contemporary enterprise HR and workforce solutions to improve workforce mobility, establish a single source of core HR and employee records, and simplify processes supporting employee movements across the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and oversee the planning, implementation and delivery of a large-scale HCM transformation project.
• Provide strategic leadership across the full program lifecycle, including business case development, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
• Establish and maintain effective program governance, risk management, delivery assurance and performance oversight.
• Ensure project outcomes are delivered within agreed scope, budget, quality standards and timeframes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, government stakeholders, operational teams and external partners.
• Oversee procurement activities, vendor relationships and negotiations to support successful project delivery.
• Provide strategic advice and informed recommendations to support executive decision-making.
• Lead and support multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant government policies, information security requirements and organisational standards.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an accomplished Program Director with demonstrated experience leading complex, enterprise-wide HCM or workforce management transformation initiatives.

You will bring:

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale Human Capital Management (HCM) programs or projects.
• Proven experience leading complex ICT-enabled business transformation initiatives within large organisations.
• Strong program governance, financial management, risk management and delivery assurance capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing significant program budgets, resources, competing priorities and delivery milestones.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills, including experience working with senior executives.
• Experience managing technology vendors, procurement activities and external delivery partners.
• Strong strategic leadership and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to navigate complex organisational environments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving collaboration across business and technical stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of enterprise HR systems, workforce management processes and associated technology solutions.
• Experience working within government, healthcare or similarly complex, highly regulated environments will be advantageous.

Experience delivering SAP HCM implementations is highly desirable.
You will be a confident and influential leader who can translate strategic objectives into successful delivery outcomes while maintaining strong governance, stakeholder confidence and organisational alignment.
