Program Finance Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Finance Intern to support our finance team in managing project budgets, financial analysis, and reporting. This paid internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in finance, accounting, and project management within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Microsoft Excel and a keen interest in finance and accounting principles.

Duties

• Support Program Analysts and Accounts Payable with data entry and review primarily using Microsoft Excel
• Organize and maintain financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist the finance team with routine reporting and administrative tasks
• Receive training and gain hands-on experience using our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Deltek Costpoint
• Creating invoices, running reports, maintaining project setup
• Learn and follow established processes and procedures for handling financial information
• Support other finance and accounting activities as assigned

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, formulas, and pivot tables.
• Basic understanding of finance principles and accounting practices.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Schedule Requirements

Must be available to work Monday through Thursday during core business hours, with a schedule falling between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM. The specific schedule can be discussed based on the candidate's availability and school schedule.

This internship is designed for individuals seeking practical experience in finance-related roles while contributing to meaningful projects within our organization.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
