Program Management Manager

About the role

The Program Management Manager will be based in Perai, Penang. In this role, you will be in-charge of guiding a team of cross functional experts in the delivery of customer focused products and services and will hold up development and implementation of a project, pricing and program strategies in order to continue to deliver value to the business and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets
• Track relevant metrics and drive action items based on results
• Provide help, knowledge and expertise with contract negotiations as required
• Oversee all interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all adherences made relative to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics
• Review program proposal or plan to resolve time frame, funding requirements, procedures for accomplishing program, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of program
• Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of program and arrange for recruitment or assignment of personnel
• Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction and control for different accounts of various complexities
• Be the key channel of communication for customers and act as escalation in the event of customer issues
• Monitor and track that project and program deliverables are met
• Maintain current and develop additional business with customers

About you

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in program administration/management or related area
• Advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site
• Accountability for the program wellness
