Program Management Officer

About the role

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of PCBA manufacturing programs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company strategic objectives. Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring a smooth transition from design and prototyping to volume production. Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts, acting as the primary interface to ensure customer satisfaction and manage day-to-day account activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of PCBA manufacturing programs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company strategic objectives
• Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring a smooth transition from design and prototyping to volume production
• Collaborate with the engineering team on design and test requirements
• Develop and manage detailed project timelines and monitor production progress
• Proactively address any delays or constraints to ensure on-time delivery (OTD)
• Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts
• Coordinate and host regular program tracking meetings with internal teams and customers to provide status updates and progress reports
• Receive, investigate, and resolve customer issues and complaints, implementing corrective actions where necessary
• Manage program budgets and allocate resources efficiently
• Monitor the impact of customer order changes on inventory levels, working with the supply chain team to optimize stock

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in program management, project management, or a related role within the electronics manufacturing industry, preferably in a PCBA environment
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes, including SMT, through-hole, and box-build assembly
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA)
• Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, BOM management, Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN), and process qualification (e.g., FAI, PFMEA)
• Communication, Stakeholder Management, and Collaboration abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Competent with computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a strong advantage
