Program Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Program Manager to lead aerospace manufacturing initiatives with energy and precision. In this role, you will be responsible for the quotation (estimating) of current production parts, new parts, and tooling in accordance with customer specifications. The Program Manager is also responsible to ensure production processes maintain technical compliance with customer requirements. The Program Manager oversees the administration of customer purchase orders and company sales orders. Extensive customer contact is required. Coordination to and from the customer and between engineering, quality and manufacturing is required.

Duties

• Completion of all quoting and estimating for new and repeat customers accurately in a timely manner.
• Interpretation of Customer Technical Requirements, Communication and Confirmation of Compliance in Manufacturing.
• Oversee the administration of customer purchase orders. Retrieve purchase orders from customer portals, where required, and oversee execution of company sales orders.
• Monitor and measure quoting effectiveness and report to management.
• Lead by example and display the qualities needed to meet and exceed goals.
• Work with all departments as a team member to focus upon the goals established by the company.
• Continual improvement in the quoting process.

Experience

• General understanding of business accounting.
• General marketing and sales experience.
• General MRP experience.
• General understanding of AS9100 quality systems.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• 10-15 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• General understanding of GD&T and technical drawings.
• Knowledgeable of machine and mold shop practices and procedures.
• Knowledgeable on materials, both metals and plastics.
• General knowledge of CAD systems and N/C programming.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
