What they need
Description At Amazon, we are committed to improving the experience, sustainability, and operational success of our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) network. The APAC DSP Partner Experience team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead strategic programs and initiatives in Japan, while also supporting selected regional efforts in Australia.
This role will primarily focus on initiatives aligned with the team’s safety charter, representing approximately 60–70% of the role’s scope. In addition, the role will support broader DSP and driver experience programs aimed at improving partner engagement, operational performance, and delivery associate experience.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with business, operations, product, safety, and partner teams to drive scalable programs, improve mechanisms, and deliver measurable business impact. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong program management, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and execution skills in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
What's in it for you?
- The opportunity to influence business decisions and drive measurable outcomes at regional scale
- A fast-paced environment where you can solve ambiguous problems, build new mechanisms, and drive continuous improvement
- Collaboration with a diverse network of stakeholders across APAC and global teams
- The ability to shape long-term strategy while remaining close to operational execution and customer impact
- An environment that encourages ownership, innovation, and continuous learning
At Amazon, you'll work alongside the latest AI and GenAI tools that are increasingly woven into how teams operate: from AI-powered capabilities that accelerate decision-making, to Generative AI that helps you focus on work that truly matters. You'll have opportunities and resources to develop AI fluency at your own pace, with continuous learning built into the culture.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead strategic safety-related programs and initiatives for the DSP network in Japan
- Own end-to-end programs and initiatives that improve the experience and sustainability of Amazon’s DSP network in Japan, while supporting selected regional initiatives in Australia
- Drive program governance, business reviews, leadership updates, and operational reporting
- Drive execution of cross-functional initiatives by partnering with Operations, WHS, and Product
- Build scalable mechanisms and continuously improve processes that enhance safety outcomes, partner experience, and operational performance
- Analyze operational trends and business metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Manage multiple complex programs simultaneously in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Influence stakeholders across regional and global teams to drive alignment and deliver results
A day in the life
A typical day may include reviewing operational and safety performance metrics, leading cross-functional discussions to resolve emerging issues, aligning with regional stakeholders on program priorities, and driving execution against key initiatives. You may work closely with Operations, WHS, Product, Policy, and DSP partner teams to identify improvement opportunities, launch new mechanisms, or support regional business reviews.
You will also spend time translating ambiguous business challenges into scalable solutions, preparing leadership updates, influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations, and ensuring programs are delivering measurable impact for DSP partners and delivery associates.
