Program Manager – Cloud & Snowflake

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a strong cloud technology background and hands-on exposure to Snowflake to lead and manage complex technology programs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cloud-based data initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing program delivery, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to drive successful program execution, manage risks, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for cloud-based technology and data initiatives.
• Manage programs involving Snowflake cloud data platforms and related cloud technologies.
• Develop program plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate with cloud architects, data engineers, solution architects, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor program progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure successful delivery of cloud migration, data integration, and data platform modernization initiatives, where applicable.
• Communicate program status, key milestones, risks, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships, stakeholder expectations, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, data governance, security, and quality requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment between technology delivery and business goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Program Manager, Technical Program Manager, or IT Program Manager.
• Strong background in cloud technologies and Snowflake.
• Experience managing cloud-based data platforms, data engineering initiatives, or enterprise technology programs.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of program governance, project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver complex programs in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise or government technology programs.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data integration, ETL/ELT, and cloud data architecture.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant program/project management certifications.
• Experience working with senior leadership, external vendors, and cross-functional technical teams.
