Program Manager

Data Center Build Program Manager | Remote, US

I'm hiring for the role which glues a new data center build together, the single point of coordination between Design, Engineering, Construction, and Network Deployment from the moment cabling starts through to Production Ready.

You will own the milestone tracker, driving commitment from teams, holding them to the dates and escalating hard when a slipping timeline threatens to cascade and be the person senior leadership trusts to tell them exactly what's at risk and why.

You need to be fluent across data center network infrastructure, rack and stack, provisioning, circuit audits, device activation, alongside genuine comfort navigating the material logistics side, hardware delivery SLAs, BOM tracking, vendor coordination.

This, plus the instincts to hold ground diplomatically across construction managers, deployment engineers, and connectivity teams simultaneously, without ever accepting "we'll get to it next week" when a milestone is at risk.

What we're looking for

• Progressive project or program management experience specifically within data center construction, network infrastructure, telecommunications, or critical facility deployment.
• Direct experience managing $1M to $10M projects with multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional dependencies.
• Hands-on experience with data center construction phases specifically, foundation, cable start, TFO, commissioning, and network turn-up, not steady-state operations alone.
• Experience working alongside MSPs and field operations teams in a live data center environment.
• Prior experience in a hyperscale data center environment strongly preferred.
• Comfortable using AI tools and agentic frameworks for workflow automation and reporting.

This role is a remote-first position with travel of 15% expected. If interested, please apply with your most up-to-date resume and I’ll be in touch.
