Program Manager – Adult Day Program Location: Mendota, CA

Pay: $30–$32/hour + Benefits

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

About The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of a community-based day program serving adults with developmental disabilities.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for staff supervision, program operations, compliance, documentation, client services, and quality assurance . The Program Manager will help ensure individuals receive high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining a positive and supportive environment for both employees and individuals served.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program operations and service delivery
• Hire, supervise, train, coach, and develop program staff
• Manage employee onboarding, performance evaluations, and corrective action processes
• Coordinate staff scheduling and ensure appropriate program coverage
• Participate in budget development and monitor operational performance
• Maintain compliance with agency policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate documentation, billing records, and administrative reports
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and monitor progress toward client goals and objectives
• Provide oversight of Restricted Health Care Plans and related requirements
• Coordinate communication with families, funding agencies, employers, care providers, and community partners
• Conduct and coordinate safety meetings and other program activities
• Oversee facility maintenance, vehicle safety, equipment, supplies, and program resources
• Foster a positive, client-centered environment focused on independence, skill development, and meaningful community engagement

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of management or supervisory experience required
• Experience with Restricted Health Care Plans required
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities strongly preferred
• Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred due to the population served
• Strong leadership, coaching, and staff development skills
• Experience with compliance, documentation, and operational oversight
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer systems
• Valid California Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required
• CPR and First Aid certifications required

• No regular weekend schedule
