Program Manager

Position Summary The Program Manager provides operational oversight of direct care staff and assists in the coordination of residential and/or community services for individuals with traumatic brain injuries and neurological conditions. This position partners closely with leadership to support staffing, training, compliance, scheduling, and quality outcomes.

Salary $65,000 - $95,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support direct care staff operations
• Assist with scheduling and staffing coordination to ensure appropriate coverage
• Conduct routine staff coaching, training, and performance monitoring
• Support onboarding and orientation of new employees
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and program standards
• Monitor documentation completion and operational workflows
• Assist with incident follow-up, corrective actions, and service quality improvement
• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and person-centered care
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, HR, and executive leadership teams
• Participate in audits, inspections, and operational reviews
• Address employee concerns and assist with conflict resolution
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for persons served and staff
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational standardization
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience with ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) populations
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, rehabilitation, residential services, or human services preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of staffing coordination and employee supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic systems
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to travel between program locations as necessary
• May have exposure to biohazardous materials and healthcare environments
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
