Program Manager

About the role

This role achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, and implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. You will handle and manage designated local and overseas customers with a sales and result-oriented approach, responding efficiently to enquiries with appropriate information about company products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans
• Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits
• Identify trends and determine regional sales system improvements; implement change
• Meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances
• Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives
• Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities and surveying consumer needs and trends
• Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending
• Handle and manage designated local and overseas customers with a sales and result-oriented approach
• Contact potential clients to understand and quantify their requirements and budgets
• Prepare proposals and quotations for potential and existing clients; maintain up-to-date information on all customer interactions

About you

• At least a Diploma, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years or relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing or equivalent environment is preferred
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and sketches
• Good program management, leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good proficiency in English
• Knowledge of ERP will be an added advantage
