Senior Programme Manager – Integration & Platform Consolidation

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead a major integration and platform consolidation programme within a growing insurance business.

The role will focus on integrating acquired businesses, consolidating underwriting platforms and ensuring operational continuity across multiple entities. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Finance and Underwriting to deliver integration plans, platform migrations and business improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end post-acquisition integrations, from pre-close planning through to full operational integration.
• Own Day 1 and Day 100 readiness, TSA management and integration planning across multiple business functions.
• Drive underwriting platform consolidation, including data migration, reconciliation, cutover and legacy system decommissioning.
• Coordinate operational readiness for new capacity arrangements, including binder set-up, delegated authority controls and bordereaux reporting.
• Manage programme governance, budgets, risks, dependencies and senior stakeholder reporting.
• Track integration costs, synergies and delivery against agreed business objectives.
• Lead project managers, business analysts and business stakeholders to ensure delivery against programme milestones.

About you

• 10+ years' programme management experience, including at least two post-acquisition integrations within financial services.
• Proven experience delivering core platform migrations or consolidations involving live data cutovers.
• Strong understanding of the London Market delegated authority model, including binders, coverholders, bordereaux and capacity relationships.
• Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programmes and third-party delivery partners.
• Comfortable operating within a performance-driven environment, with accountability for budgets, benefits and senior-level reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management, planning and leadership skills.

Experience within an MGA, specialty insurer or London Market business would be advantageous. Programme management qualifications and experience of carve-outs or TSA exits are also desirable.
