Role Overview

As a Program Manager on the Commerce & Identity team, you will independently drive the planning and execution of programs and feature areas across engineering, product, and operational partners. In this role, you will be the connective tissue between big-picture strategy and complex technical execution, empowering engineering teams to turn ambitious roadmaps into reliable, world-class reality.

You will bring structure and transparency to cross-functional initiatives, align priorities across local and distributed teams, and identify and manage dependencies and risks. You will act as an owner who fosters collaboration, keeps teams focused on critical milestones, and ensures reliable, predictable outcomes at scale.

The Program Manager will report to the Director of Program Management (Commerce and Identity).

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Planning & Execution: Develop, maintain, and drive end-to-end execution plans for technical programs or feature areas. Coordinate schedules, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring teams execute reliably against defined commitments.

  • Delivery Excellence & Accountability: Track progress across workstreams, identify delivery gaps early, and drive follow-through on action items. Improve visibility and coordination across partners to support predictable, on-time delivery.

  • Stakeholder & Dependency Management: Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, program and game studios teams. Proactively map, track, and manage cross-system dependencies within and across teams, aligning priorities to prevent bottlenecks.

  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify delivery and technical risks within your program scope. Track issues and escalate potential blockers.

  • Tailored Communication & Alignment: Deliver clear, consistent, and actionable status updates, milestone reports, and risk assessments. Tailor messaging effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders across global time zones.

  • Process Management & Continuous Improvement: Apply and adapt team-level delivery methodologies and operational workflows.

  • Technical & Product Acumen: Apply a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including Agile development methodologies and product architecture to partner effectively with engineering teams, speaking a shared technical language and translating requirements into execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 2+ years of program or project management experience within software development, technical operations, or engineering environments.

  • Scope of Experience: Proven track record of independently owning and executing programs, feature launches, or multi-team initiatives.

  • Dependency & Risk Management: Demonstrated ability to map dependencies, identify critical path risks, and formulate pragmatic mitigation plans.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience managing multiple stakeholders and building consensus across engineering, product, and other stakeholder groups.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to synthesize complex updates for cross-functional partners and international leadership across time zones.

  • Development & Tooling Fluency: Hands-on experience with a variety of delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.) and work-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Familiarity with core digital commerce or identity and access management domains is a plus

  • Experience in gaming platforms, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems is a plus.

  • Experience creating customized Jira dashboards, delivery metrics, or automated health reporting (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

  • Experience collaborating within globally distributed teams across North America and Asia-Pacific is a plus.
