What they need
Incedo is a digital transformation consulting and technology services firm that helps global enterprises achieve sustainable business impact through engineering, data, AI, and design. We work across financial services, telecom, life sciences, and product engineering, with teams in the US, India, and other regions. We offer an employee-first culture, strong learning opportunities, and the chance to work on diverse, high-impact problems.
About the Role
We are hiring a Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery of the modernization of a legacy .NET Framework platform (the Advisor platform) into a cloud-native, AI-augmented solution on .NET 10+ and Azure. You will run the program as one integrated plan across architecture, engineering, QA, DevOps, product and client teams, working alongside the .NET Technical Delivery Lead / Architect.
The role is the client's single point of accountability for scope, schedule, budget, risk and governance. You keep the program predictable, make trade-offs visible early, and ensure agentic-AI practices across the SDLC translate into measurable gains in speed and quality, not just activity.
Preferred location: Austin, TX. Reports to the Engagement / Delivery Executive and partners daily with the Technical Delivery Lead.
What We're Looking For
You are a calm, commercially minded program leader who gets complex technical programs over the line. You plan backwards from outcomes, spot dependencies and risks before they surface, and give executives a clear view of where the program stands and what decision is needed next.
You are fluent in modern delivery practice (predictive, agile and hybrid) and comfortable enough with .NET, Azure and AI-assisted engineering to challenge estimates and sequence work credibly. You lead through influence across client, vendor and internal teams, hold people accountable without friction, and are equally effective in a stand-up and in a steering committee. You own outcomes, not just plans and status reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the integrated program plan: scope, work breakdown, milestones, critical path, dependencies and release roadmap across all modernization workstreams, with clear baselines and disciplined change control.
- Establish and run program governance: steering committee, weekly delivery reviews, RAID log, decision log and escalation paths, so issues reach the right people with a recommended action.
- Manage budget, forecast and resourcing: track burn against plan, report variances early, manage capacity across onshore and offshore teams, and support commercial conversations such as change requests and SOW alignment.
- Identify, quantify and mitigate risks and dependencies before they affect delivery, covering technical, resourcing, vendor, security and compliance risks, and escalate proactively with options.
- Drive delivery cadence with the Technical Delivery Lead: sprint and release planning, definition of done, quality gates, cutover and go-live readiness, rollback plans and hypercare.
- Embed AI-augmented delivery into the plan: agree where agentic tooling (AI-assisted coding, automated code review, test generation, pipeline orchestration) is used, set baselines, and track productivity and quality gains against them.
- Act as primary day-to-day contact for client sponsors and executives: prepare steering committee decks, status reports and board-ready summaries that translate technical progress into business outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, engineering, QA, DevOps, security, data, change management and training) and resolve conflicts on priorities, capacity and scope.
- Plan for adoption: stakeholder communications, user readiness, data migration and decommissioning of legacy components.
- Build delivery discipline in the team: consistent ceremonies, metrics (velocity, predictability, defect leakage, cycle time), retrospectives and a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
Program management craft
- 12+ years in IT delivery, including 6+ years as a program or senior project manager running multi-team programs of $5M+ or 30+ people, with direct accountability to client sponsors or executives.
- Proven record delivering large application modernization, replatforming or cloud migration programs (legacy .NET Framework to .NET 10+ strongly preferred) on time and within budget.
- Expert in integrated planning: critical-path analysis, dependency mapping, resource and capacity planning, earned-value or equivalent forecasting, and rolling-wave planning.
- Strong risk and issue management, with a track record of surfacing problems early and presenting mitigation options rather than status alone.
- Commercial acumen: budgets, forecasting, change control, SOW and contract management, and managing vendor or partner performance.
- Mastery of hybrid delivery: Agile at scale (Scrum, SAFe or similar) combined with stage gates, release management and formal governance for enterprise clients.
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe Program Consultant or equivalent certification, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
Technical fluency
- Working knowledge of .NET, Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, API Management, Azure DevOps), microservices and CI/CD, enough to challenge estimates and sequence work credibly.
- Experience running programs where AI-assisted development tools are used in the SDLC, with the ability to define and report on productivity and quality metrics for them.
- Comfort with tooling such as Azure DevOps or Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project or Smartsheet, and Power BI or similar for delivery dashboards.
