DAVISCOMMS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our operations in Simpang Ampat, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a strategic role in overseeing and coordinating complex production and logistics programmes across our manufacturing operations. As Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple interdependent projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and alignment with our organisational objectives. This role is essential to maintaining operational excellence and driving continuous improvement across our production planning and scheduling functions.

Job Summary:

To lead and manage customer programmes from quotation and project planning through New Product Introduction (NPI), product launch, mass production and delivery. The Program Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure programmes meet customer requirements, quality standards, cost targets and delivery schedules while achieving customer satisfaction and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for multiple program management actions including, but not limited to Request for Quote (RFQ) coordination, enter/manage Sales Orders, generate production orders, updating schedules and forecast schedules (where needed), etc.
• Responsible for all administrative functions including, but not limited to sales order maintenance, request for information, quoting, organizing customer meetings and maintaining customer files.
• Responsible for assuring delivery in accordance with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities. Acts as customer liaison and responds to inquiries concerning the product and its current manufacturing status.
• Ensuring that performance on key business metrics achieves business objectives (revenue growth, margin performance, cost management/PPV, inventory turns, AR management, etc.)
• Ensuring performance on key customer satisfaction metrics achieves customer objectives (price performance, on-time delivery, quality, etc.)
• Work with production teams to drive sales orders and schedules for all customer products. Works closely with technical, production, and material departments to facilitate the build of customer products through the entire process
• Monitor and drive customer satisfaction driving plant operations to provide excellent performance.
• Manages process readiness by driving effective meetings with both internal and external teams.
• Escalating need for support internally and externally to resolve issues slowing down builds.

• Interfacing with the customer at a high level and being able to successfully manage key revenue programs to avoid escalations.
• Anticipates next step in manufacturing flow and prepares for the next step ahead of time.

• Timely and accurate daily build status reporting
• Coordinates workflow between front end and back end
• Ensures his/her areas of responsibilities comply with AS9100 (ISO9001) & ISO13485 requirements, customer requirements, applicable statutory and regulatory requirement.

·       He or She shall also assume any responsibilities that are assigned to him or her as and when the need arises.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor degree required.

·       Minimum five (5) years work-related experience required in project management or related discipline.

·       Certified PMP will be an advantage or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

·       Good presentation skills to address senior executives.

·       Person with high energy and passionate in enabling successful program execution.
