Program Manager

In conjunction with PDV MedTech top management and engineers, establishes relationships with

customers and identifies project and product requirements. Leads project management efforts including identifying best practices, potential improvements, and new technologies. Leads customer and PDV design teams as required and coordinates scheduling of design reviews. Creates and maintains project files, coordinating efforts with other PDV departments to develop and maintain necessary documentation and records. Specifies and procures facilities, equipment, tools, and materials needed for product design and development.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree and/or experience in engineering or similar field; medical device experience strongly preferred.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to make group presentations.
• Basic skills and experience in mathematics and the application of statistical techniques.
• Experience and competency in supplier and customer relations preferred.
• Ability to lift light to moderate loads.
• Ability to create, read, and interpret technical documents, including product specifications and drawings.
• Familiarity with various types of equipment and ability to specify required equipment, including implementation, safety, maintenance, and supply requirements.
• Proficient computer skills are preferred for this role, especially familiarity with CAD and other manufacturing and design-related software applications.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. In conjunction with top management, identifies projects and specific project requirements, creates and maintains project schedules. Creates project plans and product design and development (design control) deliverables. Participates on design control teams as assigned.
2. Contributes information for costing of PDV MedTech products and services.
3. Ensures maintenance and supports interpretation of technical documents, including those provided by the customer. Obtains and ensures adequate control of customer documents and documents of external origin, such as recognized standards and test methods.
4. Maintains project files and records (including electronic files) related to assigned jobs.
5. Completes and maintains departmental forms and records as required. Develop and maintain procedures and forms needed by the department.
6. Leads and oversees multiple client programs spanning design, development, and manufacturing
7. Acts as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment on goals, and timely updates.
8. Implements and continuously improves project management best practices, tools, and reporting mechanisms.
9. Supports business development by contributing to project scoping, proposals, and client presentations.
10. Ensures performance of tasks in accordance with company Quality System requirements. Interacts with other departments as needed.
11. Performs other duties, as assigned.
