Program Manager

Role Overview: The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and performance of programs to ensure successful delivery of contractual products and services. This role involves managing program strategy, coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing budgets and resources, and mitigating risks to meet organizational and customer objectives. The Program Manager also drives continuous improvement, manages stakeholder relationships, and ensures compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

· Own end-to-end execution of production program(s) with customer-facing accountability to deliver OTD, quality, cost, and revenue/margin objectives.

· Serve as the primary cross-functional leader connecting Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Contracts teams.

· Serve as the program’s single accountable owner for production execution status to the customer and internal stakeholders.

· Lead customer program reviews (monthly/weekly cadence), communicate schedule health, risks, and mitigation plans.

· Own delivery commitments, recovery plans for shortfalls, and manage priorities aligned to contractual requirements.

· Understand the contract well enough to prevent non-compliance and manage risks, opportunities, program financials, and avoidance of liquidated damages.

· Own the integrated master schedule (line of balance) and milestone plan.

· Lead the development and execution of recovery plan(s) to restore performance to required quality, delivery, and cost targets following a disruption or gap to plan.

Applicant requirements:

Approximately 5 years of experience in this or similar roles

Relentless in solving problems

Works well in teams

Must be a US citizen, no dual-citizenship allowed.

Lives within commuting distance of Irvine, CA or Simi Valley, CA.

Pay: Project-based at approximately $90.00/hour ranging from $85.00/hour to $100.00/hour USD
