What they need
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is one of the world's premier centers for research and treatment of catastrophic diseases in children, primarily pediatric cancers. Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee in the United States, St. Jude seeks to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Within St. Jude, the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) is a growing department looking for professionals who are eager to help implement the St. Jude Global (SJG) mission by training the clinical workforce, developing and strengthening health systems and patient-centered initiatives, and advancing knowledge to sustain continuous improvement through research.
As part of the expansion of global engagement efforts, St. Jude has established the St. Jude Global Operations Platform LLC (SJGOP) to operationalize its international offices and is in the process of establishing a foreign branch of the SJGOP in Geneva, Switzerland. SJGOP is seeking a Program Manager for this office to play a central role in carrying out the mission of the St. Jude Global Engagement Strategies (GES) program by turning strategic priorities within advocacy, policy development, engagement and partnership building into coordinated and well managed actions across St. Jude Global.
This position will be based in the St. Jude Global Geneva Office , which is being established as the operational hub for the St. Jude Global Engagement Strategies (GES) program. The office supports GES’s global advocacy, policy development and partnerships and multilateral and multistakeholder engagement efforts, helping elevate childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases including Sickle Cell Disease, across global health agendas. In its Geneva-based role and function, it also facilitates collaboration with governments, UN agencies, international organizations, and other stakeholders like civil society, in alignment with the St. Jude Global mission.
