Program Manager, Data Centre Build & Migration

Singapore | Long Term Contract (2 Years)

We are seeking a high calibre Executive Director, Data Centre Program Manager to take end to end accountability for a flagship, multi megawatt data centre deployment and transition programme in Singapore.

Our client is a globally recognised institutional investment organisation with a strong track record of performance and significant international investments across digital infrastructure. This is an opportunity to lead a strategically important data centre programme, overseeing complex delivery activities spanning colocation, critical infrastructure, facility readiness and the transition of live enterprise environments.

The mandate requires an experienced data centre project and programme leader who can drive delivery across multiple technical, commercial and operational workstreams, from initial planning and facility procurement through to deployment, migration and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end to end delivery of a major data centre deployment and transition programme, maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, budget, risks and delivery milestones.
• Oversee data centre capacity planning, colocation selection, facility readiness and deployment, working closely with operators, engineering partners and contractors.
• Coordinate critical infrastructure requirements, including power distribution, cooling, resilience, rack density and operational readiness.
• Manage complex project dependencies across facility delivery, IT infrastructure deployment, application migration and operational transition.
• Lead vendor and stakeholder engagement, ensuring delivery commitments, commercial requirements and technical standards are met.
• Develop and execute migration and cutover plans, managing failover, business continuity and operational risks to minimise disruption to live systems.
• Provide clear programme governance, executive reporting and decisive leadership across cross functional teams.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience leading complex data centre projects or programmes, including large scale deployments, facility delivery, capacity expansion or infrastructure transitions.
• Strong practical understanding of data centre critical infrastructure, including power, cooling, resilience, space planning and facility readiness.
• Proven experience managing colocation providers, engineering partners, contractors and multiple delivery workstreams.
• Demonstrable ownership of project schedules, budgets, commercial commitments, risks and delivery outcomes.
• Experience coordinating data centre migrations, infrastructure deployment and operational handover within complex environments.
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead matrixed teams and drive delivery across multiple parties.
• Experience within financial services, investment management, banking or other mission critical environments would be advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, technology or project management are desirable, alongside recognised industry certifications.
