Program Manager – Digital Banking Transformation

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale digital transformation program for a key client in the private banking sector. The Program Manager will be the single point of accountability for replacing the client's legacy e-banking platform with a modern, secure, and scalable mobile and web platform for High-Net-Worth-Individual customers in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery, from discovery and design through to final migration and rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact and lead for all program-related activities, ensuring delivery aligns with the client's strategic objectives.
• Manage the program scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring key milestones are achieved on time and within financial constraints.
• Lead and coordinate a global delivery team, including onsite and offshore resources, comprising multiple feature squads, platform teams, and migration specialists.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture, design, development (using a dual-track Scrum methodology), testing, and deployment.
• Establish and manage a robust program governance structure, including chairing bi-weekly Program Committees and reporting to the Monthly Steering Committee.
• Act as the key interface with senior client stakeholders, including the Product Owner and Executive Sponsors, ensuring transparent communication and managing expectations.
• Manage program-level risks, dependencies (especially on client-side deliverables), and issues, implementing effective mitigation and escalation strategies.
• Ensure the successful migration of clients and data from the legacy platform with a focus on non-regression, business continuity, and a seamless user experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience (10+ years) managing large-scale, complex IT transformation programs, preferably in the financial services or banking sector.
• Strong background in private banking and wealth management domains.
• Demonstrated success in delivering digital projects involving mobile (React Native) and web (React) applications with a microservices-based backend (BFF architecture).
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with experience managing multi-track, parallel development sprints.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a large, geographically distributed team.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives.
• Solid understanding of modern technology stacks, including cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift), API gateways, and CI/CD.
• Experience with complex data migration and platform decommissioning projects is highly desirable.
• Fluent in French and English.
