What they need
About upGrad GSP upGrad GSP (formerly Global Study Partners) is upGrad’s study-abroad business — a B2B marketplace that connects students with 600+ universities and colleges across Australia, the UK, Canada, the US, Ireland and New Zealand through a network of 1,300+ recruitment partners. Founded in Sydney in 2015 and acquired by upGrad in 2021, GSP’s India business is one of its fastest-growing markets.
This role works directly with the Business Head for India — a high-visibility seat at the centre of that growth.
Key Responsibilities: • Data analytics and reporting: Track enrolment trends, application funnel and stage-wise conversion; flag drops and spikes early, diagnose the cause, and own dashboards, weekly/monthly MIS and forecasting. • Driving cross-functional projects: Run projects end to end with admissions, recruitment, marketing, product and finance — scope, timelines, dependencies and closure. • Business planning and target setting: Support the AOP and quarterly planning cycle; cascade targets to region and partner level and track performance against plan. • Business reviews and governance: Prepare the Business Head for weekly, monthly
and quarterly reviews, and drive action trackers to closure. • Process design and improvement: Fix bottlenecks across the application-toenrolment journey through SOPs, automation and product inputs. • Partner and market intelligence: Track partner productivity, intake-cycle patterns and competitor/destination-market shifts, and convert these into actionable inputs. • Special projects and new initiatives: Pilot and scale new initiatives — geographies, partner segments or product lines — from business case to handover. • Stakeholder communication: Keep leadership, global teams and partners aligned with crisp updates and timely escalation. What we’re looking for: • High ownership: You chase closure without being chased and are comfortable operating with ambiguity. • Strong data orientation: You can read a funnel and build a forecast. Advanced Excel/Sheets essential; SQL or Power BI/Tableau a plus. • Brilliant execution: Bias for action, sharp prioritisation and relentless followthrough. • Excellent communication: Crisp updates, leadership-ready decks and confidence with senior stakeholders. • Cross-functional influence: You drive outcomes through teams that don’t report to you. • Structured problem solving: Hypothesis-led thinking and the judgement to know when to go deep versus when to move.
What’s in it for you: • Fast-track growth: A high-ownership seat in one of GSP’s fastest-growing markets, with a runway to broader business responsibility. • Work directly with a seasoned Business Head: A front-row view of how a growth business is planned, reviewed and course-corrected. • Sharp learning curve: Breadth across analytics, planning, partner strategy, operations and product in a single role. • Visibility with leadership: Your work goes straight into India and global leadership reviews. • Global exposure: An international education business spanning six destination markets. • Purpose-led work: Every enrolment you unlock is a student accessing an education that changes their trajectory
