Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities The Global Logistics Exports Supply Chain Design is looking for a strong candidate for the role of Program Manager. In this role, the successful candidate will understand Amazon’s Cross Border Transportation Network, design and manage integrating 3P carriers into the Amazon network. A successful candidate will engage multiple cross-functional teams, convert business needs into technical requirements, design the supply chain, influence project prioritization, and manage end-to-end carrier deployment projects. In this role, the individual is expected to adopt the supply chain design and engage carrier partners and internal tech, non-tech, and operational teams to gather requirements, scope, and execute the project. The individual will execute the project plan to accomplish key milestones and deliver the project within specific timelines. Responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end project ownership
  • Following best practices for carrier onboarding/deployment
  • launching and ramping the supply chain solution
  • Monitoring performance through metrics
  • Communicating project status updates to leadership
  • Stabilizing operations
  • Transitioning the program to operations.

This role does not require the ability to write technical code, however, communicating with technical teams will be critical. Ability to write and manage a detailed project plan, drive implementation of the plan, and ensure adequate testing is done throughout the process, is a must. The candidate will thrive off waking up daily and determining how well we performed to our goals, and how we satisfied our Sellers and Customers today. Functional knowledge of data and analysis tools, standard deviation fundamentals, and graphical data presentation models to highlight wins and misses will be integral to this role.
