About The Role We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IP&R) and Supply Chain Planning transformation programs for a leading retail and supply chain organization.

The successful candidate will bring deep supply chain domain expertise and a proven track record of leading enterprise IP&R or supply chain planning system implementations, transformations, or major enhancements.

This role requires end-to-end program ownership across multiple interconnected workstreams, business functions, and technology teams—from requirements and solution design through testing, deployment, change management, and post-go-live stabilization.

Candidates with general project management experience but no direct IP&R or supply chain planning system implementation ownership will not be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end IP&R and supply chain planning programs from initiation and strategy through implementation, stabilization, and benefits realization.
  • Own program roadmaps, governance, milestones, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and delivery outcomes across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Merchandising, Procurement, Operations, IT, Data, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive initiatives involving inventory optimization, demand forecasting, replenishment strategies, service levels, inventory availability, and working capital improvement.
  • Translate business objectives into program scope, requirements, solution priorities, implementation plans, and measurable success criteria.
  • Lead IP&R and supply chain planning system implementations, transformations, and major enhancements.
  • Oversee the full delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, change management, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Improve inventory policies, safety stock, ordering parameters, item/location setup, replenishment processes, and planning practices.
  • Manage cross-project dependencies, resolve delivery challenges, and proactively mitigate risks and issues.
  • Establish program KPIs covering forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, stock availability, replenishment performance, and working capital.
  • Lead steering committee meetings, executive reviews, governance forums, and program status communications.
  • Coordinate implementation partners, external vendors, and technology providers.
  • Drive organizational change management, business readiness, training, adoption, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
  • Track business benefits and ensure program outcomes align with strategic supply chain objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, supply chain transformation, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on domain expertise in Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IP&R).
  • Practical understanding of demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment, safety stock, service levels, inventory policies, and supply chain planning.
  • Proven experience leading large, complex, multi-workstream programs spanning multiple business functions and technology teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership of an actual IP&R or Supply Chain Planning system implementation, transformation, or major enhancement.
  • Experience across the complete implementation lifecycle, from requirements and solution design through testing, UAT, deployment, change management, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Strong understanding of retail, distribution, manufacturing, or other complex supply chain environments.
  • Experience managing program roadmaps, budgets, resources, governance, risks, dependencies, and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
