Job Description: We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager with a focus on business operations and change management. The successful candidate will join a dynamic enterprise mobile team servicing the team in Arlington Heights, IL

Requirements

• 5 – 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager on large, fast-paced enterprise-level projects (candidates with tech company backgrounds are preferred over IT Project Managers).
• Airline experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• The role involves overseeing a tool created by a third party to serve dispatchers.
• Strong Program Management skills with a business background and expertise in Change Management are essential.
• Ability to build relationships quickly, manage large budgets, and work with large cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile processes and strong soft skills are crucial.
• Comfortable presenting at the executive level.
• Knowledge of products (not a product owner role).
• PMP, change management, and Safe certifications are nice to have but not required.
• Onsite presence 2-3 days per week in Arlington Heights.
• Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid model.

Interview Process: The interview process consists of 4 rounds.

• Strong Program Management Skills with the utilization of PMBOK methodology.
• Experience in and in-depth knowledge of agile and scrum processes, with the ability to balance waterfall/agile hybrids or software products.
• Experience managing 3rd party vendors is a plus.

Job Summary: The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the achievement of larger organizational goals, coordinating efforts between different workstreams, and leading the overall program with a focus on strategy, implementation, and delegation. The role requires heavy engagement with stakeholders at all levels and managing program and project teams to ensure goals are reached.

Primary Responsibilities

• Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
• Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
• Oversee project teams and ensure program goals are achieved.
• Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.
• Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
• Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Develop and manage budgets for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline (Business Management, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal/soft skills for managing stakeholders.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Agile or Agile SAFe certificate or experience being part of a scrum/product team.
• Significant experience in an advanced management role.
• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
