Program Manager/LPC/LCSW/LMHP

Overview: IOP Program Manager / Licensed Clinician—In Person

Ascending Partners LLC is seeking a dependable, fully licensed Virginia clinician to help lead our growing adult ASAM 2.1 Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program. We welcome clinicians experienced in developing new programs or willing to collaborate closely with leadership as we grow.

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete intake, biopsychosocial, ASAM, and risk assessments; establish diagnoses and recommend appropriate care.
• Develop initial ISPs and complete medical-necessity and authorization-related clinical documentation.
• Review CSAC notes and clinical records, request corrections, and sign documents when authorized.
• Provide clinical consultation, staff guidance, and formal supervision when appropriately qualified.
• Support daily operations, documentation quality, and program and payer requirements.
• Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and related follow-up.
• Help develop group curriculum and conduct staff training within your qualifications.
• Attend weekly team meetings and scheduled regulatory meetings, program events, and trainings.
• Promptly address and escalate safety or clinical concerns.

Schedule and Pay

• This is an in-office position requiring attendance at least three days per week during group sessions.
• Flexible scheduling based on group hours, client census, and program needs.
• $45 per hour during the first 90-day introductory period. Performance and compensation may be reviewed afterward; an increase is not guaranteed.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia LPC or LCSW license
• Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Substance use treatment experience; experience helping open a clinic or develop an IOP is preferred.
• Completion of required background checks, credentialing, and onboarding.

Applicants seeking remote work will not be considered. Residents, supervisees, interns, trainees, license-eligible applicants, and applicants with only an MSW and without a qualifying independent clinical license are ineligible.
