The ideal candidate combines strong P6 technical skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. This is a coordination-intensive role requiring someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working with multiple project teams to obtain accurate and timely scheduling information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update an integrated master program schedule using Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate with project managers to obtain project schedules, updates, milestones, and resource- and cost-loading information.
  • Integrate resource-loaded and cost-loaded project schedules into the consolidated program schedule.
  • Manipulate and manage scheduling, resource, and cost data within P6 to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor key milestones, schedule interdependencies, and potential conflicts across projects.
  • Identify schedule changes and potential impacts and communicate findings to program management.
  • Develop positive working relationships with project teams to facilitate timely and accurate information sharing.
  • Prepare program-level schedule updates and reports for management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of scheduling experience using Primavera P6.
  • Demonstrated experience with resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules in P6, including the ability to manage and integrate this information.
  • Solid understanding of scheduling principles, critical path methodology, and schedule updates.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple project managers and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to gathering information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; Construction Management or a related field also considered.
  • Experience supporting capital improvement programs, public infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects.
