Programme Facilitator

Te Puna Hauora is a Kaupapa Māori, Health & Community Support Services provider based on the North Shore. We provide high quality, professional yet accessible & affordable health care and support to whānau. Our integrated wrap around services includes GP Clinic, Diabetes, Tamariki Ora, Community Support and Mental Health Services, Whānau Ora, allied Dental Clinic and Pharmacy.

 As our previous Programme Facilitator has recently taken on another role within the organisation, we are now seeking an experienced & enthusiastic Programme Facilitator to join our team working with whānau in our community. The facilitator role provides people with the opportunity to build positive whanaungatanga and learn ways to make transformational shifts within our Journey through Changes mana enhancing and Mana Matua parenting programmes.

The successful applicant must be prepared to gain a good understanding of the Kaupapa & policies of Te Puna Hauora's client led model & respect the rights of the Whanau at all times. Communication & organisational skills are essential, and you must have the ability to establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people

The successful applicant will have:

·         Expertise in training and mentoring

·         Ability to facilitate group sessions

·         Ability to relate to people with sensitivity, caring and patience

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

·         Ability to speak Te Reo would be an advantage

Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
