We're supporting a leading global insurer in the search for a Strategic Underwriting Transformation Programme Manager to partner directly with the Underwriting COO and lead a business-critical underwriting transformation agenda.

We're looking for an executive-level transformation leader who can operate alongside C-Suite stakeholders, shape strategy, design target operating models, influence underwriting leadership teams globally and drive enterprise-wide change.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for defining and delivering a multi-year underwriting modernisation programme spanning:

• Underwriting operating model transformation
• Underwriting workflow and process redesign
• Underwriting orchestration initiatives
• Organisational change and business readiness
• Data and technology-enabled transformation
• Governance, benefits realisation and executive reporting

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future underwriting capability of a global insurance organisation while ensuring strategic objectives translate into measurable business outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Extensive experience leading large-scale underwriting transformation programmes within the insurance sector
• Proven track record delivering underwriting modernisation initiatives across business, process, technology and data
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle
• Experience designing and implementing Target Operating Models (TOMs)
• Executive-level stakeholder management and governance experience
• Demonstrable ability to influence COO, CUO and Executive Committee-level stakeholders
• Experience leading global or multi-regional transformation programmes

Highly Desirable

• London Market and Specialty Insurance experience
• Experience partnering with COOs or Underwriting Leadership teams
• Consulting or enterprise transformation background
• Experience delivering underwriting operating model, workflow or underwriting efficiency programmes
