JOB DESCRIPTION – CAM PROGRAMMER

Job Summary

We are looking for a CAM Programmer with knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel to prepare and manage CNC machine programs for sheet metal manufacturing. The candidate should be able to read engineering drawings and support production activities to ensure accuracy and productivity.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify CNC programs for sheet metal manufacturing operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Use AutoCAD to view, understand, and modify 2D drawings as required.
• Prepare and maintain production data and programming records using MS Excel.
• Coordinate with Production and NPD teams to ensure accurate program execution.
• Optimize cutting layouts and material utilization wherever applicable.
• Verify program accuracy and resolve programming-related issues.
• Support CNC operators during machine setup and production.
• Maintain proper documentation of programs and revisions.
• Follow quality standards and safety procedures.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of CNC laser cutting or punching programming is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month, based on skills and experience.
• Other benefits as per company policy.

Preferred Candidate: Candidates with knowledge of CNC programming in the sheet metal manufacturing industry will be preferred. Immediate joiners are welcome.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
