Programmer (Python+FastAPI OR Ms Access)

About the Role: We are seeking an active and initiative-driven Python / Ms Access Programmer to join our IT & Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the IT Supervisor to modernize manufacturing systems, build robust web APIs, and automate production reporting workflows. You will play a key part in maintaining legacy systems while driving the migration toward modern, scalable web architectures using Python, FastAPI, and Docker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development & Modernization:
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications following ACS standard software frameworks.
  • Maintain existing MS-Access client-server systems and lead the migration toward Python + FastAPI for web-based reporting and analytics.
• Manufacturing Systems & Automation:
  • Work closely with the IT Supervisor and production teams to resolve production process issues (optimizing speed, network overhead, and system reliability).
  • Build real-time dashboards, reporting tools, and process automation solutions for shop-floor visibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across new and existing production software.
• Cybersecurity & Version Control:
  • Implement secure coding standards to safeguard operational and production data.
  • Manage software version control (Git), maintain comprehensive technical documentation, and ensure rigorous testing before deployment to production environments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High Vocational Certificate (ปวส.) or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in web application development using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Docker
• Proficiency in Python web frameworks (FastAPI preferred).
• Good understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL (experience or willingness to learn MS-Access is required).
• Experience with containerization using Docker.
• Expertise in version control systems using Git (GitHub / GitLab).
• Good command of written and spoken English.
