Programmer / QA Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Programmer / QA Intern to join our team. Depending on business needs and your skills, you may be assigned to either the Software Development (Programming) team or the Quality Assurance (QA) team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to software development, testing, and the software development lifecycle while working alongside experienced IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the internship program, successful candidates will receive mentorship and hands-on training to develop their technical and professional skills. Depending on project requirements, interns may be exposed to both Software Development (Programming) and Quality Assurance (QA) functions.

• Participate in company-provided training on software development, quality assurance, and industry best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in software development, testing, and other project-related activities as assigned.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and other team members to support project objectives and ensure software quality.
• Perform tasks and projects as assigned to support the Development and Quality Assurance teams.
• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies.

This internship is designed to provide a well-rounded introduction to software development and quality assurance while building the skills needed for a successful career in the IT industry.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of programming concepts and software development principles.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies is an advantage.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of databases, SQL, and web technologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Requirements

• Must be available to start by December 1, 2026.
• Must be able to commit to at least four (4) months of internship.
• Must be amenable to a hybrid work setup.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Makati City as required.
• Must be willing to work on a night shift schedule.
• Must have access to a stable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
