About MiA - Mujeres in Action
MiA - Mujeres in Action is a Spokane-based nonprofit dedicated to advocating for survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, helping them reach their full potential, and educating our community from a Latine perspective to eliminate family violence.
Our vision is to guide our community from survival to well-being.
We are committed to being respectful, survivor-centered, transparent, partnership-focused, and culturally responsive in everything we do.
Programs Manager
MiA is looking for a Programs Manager to help us understand, document, and communicate the impact of our work.
This position leads grant reporting, program data, performance measurement, and evaluation across the organization. The Programs Manager works closely with our team to make sure we have accurate information, strong systems, and clear reporting that supports our programs and our mission.
The ideal candidate is organized, curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both people and data. You can manage multiple deadlines, make sense of complex information, and turn data into a clear story. You understand that data is not just about numbers; it helps us understand the people and communities we serve, improve our programs, demonstrate our impact, and strengthen our ability to secure funding.
What You'll Do
Programs Reporting & Compliance

- Maintain a grant reporting calendar and track deadlines, deliverables, outcomes, and performance measures.
- Work with program staff to collect the information needed for grant reports.
- Prepare grant reports, data summaries, performance information, and data narratives.
- Review data and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Identify missing information, reporting gaps, or compliance concerns and work with staff to resolve them.
- Maintain documentation needed to support reported outcomes, participant information, and other grant requirements.
- Respond to funder questions and support grant monitoring, audits, and other compliance activities.
- Help improve systems and processes so grant reporting is clear, timely, and manageable for the team.
Data & Evaluation
- Develop and maintain systems for collecting and tracking program and grant data.
- Monitor data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Establish clear data definitions, collection procedures, and reporting processes.
- Analyze program data to identify trends, outcomes, service gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Develop reports, dashboards, tracking tools, and other resources that help staff understand program performance.
- Support program evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Translate data into clear and compelling information for funders, leadership, the Board, and community partners.
- Help MiA use data to better understand the needs and experiences of the communities we serve.
Organizational Reporting
- Prepare regular reports for the Executive Director, leadership team, and Board of Directors.
- Track organizational and program outcomes and help monitor progress toward annual goals.
- Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities through data analysis.
- Provide information and recommendations to support planning, decision-making, and program improvement.
- Support Development with data and information needed for grant proposals and other funding opportunities.
- Work with Finance to align programmatic and financial reporting requirements.
Staff Support & Collaboration
- Serve as a resource to staff on data collection, reporting, evaluation, and grant requirements.
- Work closely with Program staff to make data collection practical and meaningful.
- Provide training and technical assistance to staff as needed.
- Build strong working relationships across Program, Development, Finance, and leadership.
- Promote a culture where data is used to learn, improve, demonstrate impact, and strengthen our work.
