Program/Stewardship Coordinator

St. Rose of Lima, located in Miami Shores, Florida, is hiring for a full-time Program/StewardshipCoordinator.This employee is responsible is responsible for coordinating and executing several fundraising and community events for St. Rose of Lima Church, Miami Shores, FL. Primary duties are event planning, coordinating with volunteers and for developing and maintaining strong relationships within St. Rose of Lima’s alumni community. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Essential Functions include:

· Plan and execute events, programs, managing third party event vendors and organize and manage logistics for events including venues, caterers, rentals, décor, audiovisual, and all other event vendors.

· Collaborate with various volunteers for fundraising activities.

· Coordinate communications, including social media updates and website content.

· Work with School Parent Association to organize parent volunteers for Special Events

· Plan and execute events, programs, and initiatives to promote alumni involvement and support.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date alumni records, including contact information and engagement history.

· Provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers involved in fundraising and special events.

· Any other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business or relevant field, master’s degree preferred in relevant field.

· Previous experience in alumni relations, event planning, or related field is preferred.

· Good oral and written English communication skills is a must, including clear speaking voice.

· Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

· Ability to navigate online applications and search engines effectively.

· Excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain focus on and professionalism with people in challenging situations, both in person and by phone.

· Good time management, including ability to manage several projects at the same time.

· Must be able to multi-task and retain accuracy in an environment of competing deadlines.

· Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.

· Knowledgeable and supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.

· Must have a professional demeanor.
