Key Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting activities from project setup through closeout
• Prepare and analyze project financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Perform complex account reconciliations and revenue analysis
• Track project costs, profitability, and key performance metrics
• Drive Accounts Receivable activities, including billing, collections, and aging analysis
• Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate project financial reporting
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze large volumes of financial data
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting, project accounting, or construction/project-based accounting experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, and complex formulas)
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable, billing, and collections
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
