What You'll Do

• Process invoicing across active projects, with a particular focus on the company's larger, higher-volume jobs
• Match vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving tickets to confirm the job site is being billed accurately for what was ordered and received
• Manage a high monthly invoice volume, averaging around 150, including detailed concrete invoices that require careful, line by line review
• Handle accounts payable duties, including verifying charges and resolving discrepancies before payment
• Support purchasing and ordering as needed
• Partner closely with project managers on the financial side of project execution
• Maintain regular communication with both internal teams and outside vendors to keep billing accurate and on schedule

What You Bring

• Experience in accounting, accounts payable, or project accounting, ideally within construction or a related industry
• Familiarity with Viewpoint or similar construction accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and the persistence to work through high volumes of invoices accurately
• A confident communication style, comfortable following up with vendors and holding ground when resolving billing discrepancies
• Ability to manage the accounting needs of several active projects at once
