Project Accountant

Frederick Fox (Los Angeles) is partnering with a mid-sized real estate development and construction company in Los Angeles to hire a Project Accountant .

Job Title: Project Accountant

Reports To: Assistant Controller

Direct Reports: n/a - part of a team of 8

Office Location: Downtown Los Angeles

Worksite Type: Hybrid with remote Fridays

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 + discretionary bonus

Full‑time : Permanent position with excellent benefits

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on 10 complex projects at a time with multiple consultants
• Design team liaison
• Project budgeting
• Performance analysis
• Client billing
• Labor and expense tracking
• Assist during month-end close

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 1 to 4 years of project accounting experience managing projects over $20 million from construction, engineering or architecture industries
• ERP and Excel
