Project Accountant – Construction

At GRB Service Systems, Inc., the ideal Project Accountant is a detail-oriented professional responsible for overseeing the financial administration and accounting processes associated with construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate job costing, timely subcontractor and vendor payments, proper management of retainage, and compliance with contractual and financial requirements.

Working closely with Project Managers, the Accounts Payable Manager, and the Controller.

The Project Accountant supports the financial success of each project by maintaining accurate financial records, reviewing and processing invoices, monitoring project costs, and ensuring all required documentation, including lien waivers and compliance records, is properly maintained.

The Project Accountant is also responsible for supporting project financial reporting, identifying and resolving billing discrepancies, and facilitating the financial closeout of completed projects. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive communication, and a commitment to accuracy, accountability, and collaboration.
