Project Administrator-Project Support

Job Summary

We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to oversee the financial performance and effectiveness of assigned contracts and project work numbers. The role will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, reconciliation, financial controls, month-end closing, and analysis.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and Delivery/Project Executives (DPEs) to ensure accurate financial forecasting, revenue and cost recognition, project profitability, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the financial performance and efficacy of assigned contracts/project work numbers.
• Perform financial planning and management activities, including:
• Financial forecasting
• Actuals reporting
• Financial analysis
• Reconciliation
• Financial controls
• Month-end closing
• Prepare and maintain financial forecasts and actual financial results for assigned projects.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports and insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with Project Managers and DPEs to assess backlog revenue and OPV for forecasting purposes.
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and validity of project revenue, costs, and expenses recorded in the financial systems.
• Monitor project financial performance against forecasts, budgets, and actuals.
• Ensure all financial forecasts are properly reviewed, validated, and loaded into IPPF on or before the monthly cut-off.
• Perform regular financial deep dives with Project Managers and DPEs to identify variances, financial risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support Project Managers and DPEs in developing and tracking Gross Profit (GP) improvement initiatives.
• Analyze project profitability and identify key drivers impacting revenue, costs, margins, and GP.
• Investigate significant financial variances and provide recommendations to improve project financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
• Support month-end and period-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required by management.
• Collaborate with finance, project, commercial, and operational teams to resolve financial and reporting issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA / Certified Public Accountant qualification is required.
• Typically 3–7 years of relevant experience in project finance, management accounting, financial controlling, contract finance, or a similar role.
• Experience managing financials for projects, contracts, or work numbers is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition, project costing, forecasting, financial reporting, and profitability analysis.
• Experience working closely with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, or business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of P&L, revenue, costs, expenses, gross profit, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with financial systems/ERP platforms.
• Experience with forecasting and financial reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/work numbers simultaneously.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php90,000.00 per month
